Main product description.
MCBase is a relational database system that has been setup to assist in managing music collections, regardless of the media on which the music is recorded. The primairy target of MCBase, is to provide structure in - and the quickest possible access to - all material present in your collection, by presenting your data to you in alphabetical order. Your data can be browsed from all possible entries (album titles, artist- or composernames or whatever) or even by using SQL queries (Windows version only). MCBase is available for the DOS/Win3 (for both DOS and Windows 3.x) and the Windows platforms (i.e.: 95/98/2000/NT/XP). All releases are Year2000 compliant.
The major advantage that the MCBase concept has over other music collection databases, is it's relational concept: all unique data, like albumtitle, artist- or composername needs to be entered only once! After that one time of data entry, you can simply point & click on that item to reselect it for a next record. MCBase is an enormous timesaver when it comes to data entry! A small sample database is included in the shareware archive, as available on our "Download" pages.Instructions and examples on how to use MCBase to manage your collection are included in the program's documentation and help files, but can also be found here.
