    • Doldersum family genelology. Joop Doldersum has been working on the Doldersum family geneology since 2002. People who visited this site before, will notice that there used to be another introduction on this page. As I said in that previous introduction: my ideal would be, to put the research in a book together with foto’s en much backgroundinformation on the people. In this way it won’t be a book with namens and numbers, but it will tell a tale on the family Doldersum.

    • Your Geneology (Description to follow).

    • MCBase - the (Multi Media) Music Collection dataBase system. A powerful relational database system that has been setup to assist in managing music collections, regardless of the media on which the music is recorded. The primairy target of MCBase, is to provide structure in - and the quickest possible access to - all material present in your collection, by presenting your data to you in alphabetical order. Your data can be browsed from all possible entries (album titles, artist- or composernames or whatever) or even by using SQL queries (Windows version only). MCBase is available for the DOS/Win3 (for both DOS and Windows 3.x) and the Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP) platforms. All releases are Year2000 compliant.

    • MP3.com. Apart from providing info (and software) on the MP3 compression technology for sound files, the site also provides various songs for download. Since MP3 is a really very compact compression technology, the MP3 sound files - as now distributed by various new bands - are very suitable for storage in the MCBase sound memo's!!

    • Record Collectors Guild The Record Collectors Guild - an organization of vinyl record collectors.

    • REC Music Foundation The REC Music Foundation is a privately-operated foundation which, as of the close of 1996, is controlled and funded by Robert Ellis Crawford of St. Louis, Missouri. The official stated purpose of the foundation is to promote new classical music composers, primarily through the development of new computer tools; however, its current activities are focused on the two Internet projects found on this server. (Founder: Robert E. Crawford).

    • Rich M.'s Discographies Hi there! My name is Rich Martens and welcome to my web site. If you're anything like me, when you're interested in a band and their music, you like to know what recordings are available out there. If so, I hope I can provide you with some of the best discographies on the Internet.

Topic: Software. - Links to software related websites.
These are some links to software sites, I found to be very useful (for info on Internet related software - see topic "Web publishing"):

    • Corel Corel's WordPerfect suite is, in my opinion, the best suite around. (I'm not using the latest version of this suite, in all honesty (I'm still at version 6, which was published when the suite was Borland's...;-)

    • EuroShare - Shareware author mailing list.
EuroShare is a mailing list that shareware professionals around the world use to communicate with each other about issues that are vital to creating and marketing their programs. With over 890 subscribers - a figure that continues to grow every month - there's plenty of opportunity for networking with other industry professionals.

    • Borland International.. Borland's programming language Delphi is the most effective RAD tool I've ever seen. If you intend to do some programming of your own, you'll get a headstart when you choose for Delphi!

    • The Pascal + Delphi page Franz Glaser's page has numerous links to answers for everyday Pascal and Delphi questions.

    • Griffin Solutions Griffin Solutions provided the first dBase engine (Halcyon) used in the MCBase project. It's advantage is, that this engine is incorporated in the applications executable, without increasing it's size out of proportions.

    • Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft's operating systems, their view on the Internet and the way they are trying to integrate the two, is something that appeals to me. No doubt that Netscape is very good as well, but... ;-)
Also available on Microsoft's site is the new version of the Windows MediaPlayer - now also suitable for MP3, RealAudio and RealVideo.

    • MP3.com. This site supports and provides info (and software)on the MP3 compression technology for sound files. Since MP3 is a really very compact compression technology, the MP3 sound files - as now distributed by various new bands - are very suitable for storage in the MCBase sound memo's!! The site also provides various songs for download...

    • PadRing - Library for shareware, based on PAD file contents.
This website was meant to demonstrate how software developers can benefit from linking PAD files each to other. As you know, regular search engines can easily search for HTML pages. How does it work? It's really transparent - each page has links to other pages. It makes possible to spy pages by jumping from page to page. Why not to apply this technology to PAD files?

    • Paradox Community - User group (?) site, to support support all Paradox users
Very interesting site for Paradox users - provides much info on various releases.

    • PKWare. PKWare has probably the best data compression program in the world today. There are other alternatives, of course, but this is the one that sets the standard, in my opinion.

    • THSD - Timo Hartmann Software Development Timo Hartmann's "QRDesign" enduser report designer - for Delphi/QuickReport. QRDesign is a runtime end user report designer for QuickReport. The report editor can either be compiled into your application (no external files, DLLs etc. needed) or you can create a stand-alone report editor. The report editor is fully customisable and you can easily create your own editor from scratch, based on the non-visual QRDesign components.

    • Arachnophilia. By Paul Lutus: "Arachnophilia’s purpose is to create Web pages. It does this in one of two general ways. The easy way is to drop a Rich Text Format (RTF) document onto the Arachnophilia program window and watch Arachnophilia turn it into a web page for you. The not so easy way is to write the HTML code yourself, which, although more work, produces the most professional-looking results". This product is CareWare, a very interesting concept, developed Paul Lutus!
