    Product Features summary

Database typeVarious: all database types that are supported by the Borland Database Engine. This includes DBase, Paradox and various others. The range of supported types may expand with future releases of the BDE.
Multiple database setsSupported. The database(s) to be used can be selected in your SQL assignment text.
Data browsingWhen processing an SQL assignment that produces a result dataset, SQLBox will automatically present this data on it's "ViewGrid" tab page. You may browse this page using the provided scrollbars. The result data is instantly printable.
Editable itemsEditing of database data is possible by SQL assignment only.
Backup facilitiesPlease note that backup software is not within SQLBox's scope, since there is wide variety of excellent backup solutions available. (In this particular case, we recommend that you investigate the use of a hardware solution as a CD burner or a ZIP drive: the advantage that these hardware solutions offer, is the fact that any databases stored on these media can be read directly from within SQLBox).
Network supportSQLBox is suitable for working in a network environment.
Color adjustmentsImplemented to follow the Windows operating system settings. The colors of all screen elements can be altered, to facilitate use on LCD screens or use under special lighting conditions.

Mouse adjustmentsImplemented to follow the Windows operating system settings.
    Print jobs

One standard print job has been built in: it will print the contents on the active tabpage in an optimimal page layout. Apart from that, an SQL enabled User Report Designer (URD) has been implemented, which will allow you to create your own reports as you would want them to. The use of this User Report Designer is fully documented in it's own online helpfile, included with SQLBox.

All printjobs are able to print their data to a textfile, by utilizing the Windows operating system's printer driver "Print to textfile".
